**TITLE OF POSITION**

Owner Operator: Route; Calgary Postal Codes: T2T, T2S, T3C (East of Crowchild and North of 17th Ave).

**HOURS OF SERVICE**

07:00-07:30 start time until route is completed

**REST DAYS**

Saturday & Sunday

**GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES**

     **Must own a 16’ commercial type cube van or equivalent.**

     Must have a business number and your own WCB number

     Must have the appropriate cargo and liability insurance.

     Must provide a current 5 year clean commercial drivers abstract.

     Must provide clean criminal background documentation.

     Use Pulse scanner for all required activities on the daily route; all scannable way bills, laser waybills, shippers own bar-corded labels must be scanned

     Delivery of all assigned material in the route area, within the specific requirements of both customer and Canpar daily.

     Pick up of all assigned customer pick-ups within the specific guidelines of the Customers and Canpar daily

     Compile and submit accurate route records on a daily basis

     Various other duties as assigned by supervisor to meet operational needs.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license suitable for the type of vehicle operated.
- Strong skills in heavy equipment operation and freight handling.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for record keeping.
- Ability to manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
