Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and caring Level 2 or Level 3 Early Childhood Educator to join our team. In this role, you will play an essential part in shaping children's early learning and social development in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and maintain a high-quality, developmentally appropriate environment that supports children's health, safety, and well-being
- Observe and assess children's interests, abilities, and needs
- Communicate progress, concerns, and achievements with parents and team members
- Support children in developing independence and self-help skills
- Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with families, co-workers, and management
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials
- Contribute to a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Qualifications
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certification – Alberta
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
- Strong understanding of child development and early learning principles
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and team members
- Previous experience in a daycare or early childhood setting (minimum 1 year preferred)
