Live in Nanny

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Live In Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess the skills necessary to create a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage daily activities, meal preparation, and light cleaning while ensuring the well-being of the children in their care.

Duties

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while accommodating dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after meals and playtime.
• Assist with homework and educational activities to support children's learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's daily activities, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
• Foster a positive relationship with the children by being attentive, caring, and supportive.

Experience

• Previous experience as a babysitter or nanny is preferred, particularly with children of varying ages.
• Skills in cooking and meal preparation are essential to ensure healthy eating habits.
• Experience in caregiving for children with disabilities is highly valued.
• A background in education or child development is a plus but not required.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively while ensuring children's safety.
