We are seeking a highly dedicated and analytical Procurement Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Procurement, driving the execution of $29M in purchases across the organization. Requests ranging from; one time purchases, to strategic multi-year enterprise agreements. This includes sourcing and executing agreements across key categories such as software (SaaS/PaaS), hardware, professional services, and marketing programs.

Working directly with business leaders, you will execute on procurement strategies aligned with company growth, utilizing advanced analytical skills to conduct Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis and spend forecasts. This role will focus on ensuring contracts deliver optimal scalability, compliance, and measurable cost optimization across the organization. You will be instrumental in improving procurement frameworks and reducing cycle times while partnering closely with Executive, Finance, Legal, and IT teams.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead negotiations for new and renewal SaaS contracts (e.g., Salesforce Suite, Google Workspace, Thoughtspot, AWS, GTM tools, HRIS), securing optimal financial and legal terms, maximizing discounts, and ensuring contractual scalability to support aggressive growth goals.
  • Support stakeholders with end-to-end large-scale, cross-functional RFPs for critical technologies, supporting vendor evaluations, and documenting comprehensive business case/ROI analyses.
  • Proactively identify and eliminate redundant spend (e.g., vendor consolidation, license optimization) to deliver and track significant, measurable cost savings annually for the organization.
  • Help design and implement procurement frameworks and process improvements to enhance compliance, transparency, and reduce procurement cycle times across the P2P lifecycle.
  • Conduct comprehensive cost analysis, applying Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) methodologies to accurately assess vendor pricing and total financial impact on the Business.
  • Build and maintain constructive, long-term vendor partnerships focused on accountability, performance optimization, and strategic alignment with StackAdapt's goals.
  • Serve as the key liaison with Privacy, Legal and InfoSec to ensure all executed vendor agreements comply with global data security, privacy (GDPR/CCPA/PIPEDA), and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize P2P platforms (ZIP) to own the P2P lifecycle, managing purchase requests, facilitating contract renewals, PO creation, PO changes / close outs, customize reporting workflows, and generate advanced spend and performance metrics for executive review.
  • Uphold and monitor rigorous standards for agreements, purchase orders (POs), and approval procedures.
What You'll Bring to the Table
  • Experience in strategic IT procurement, with direct, hands-on experience managing and executing sourcing and contracting activities for hardware, enterprise SaaS/PaaS, and professional services.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IT Supplier base and expert-level negotiation skills in executing complex IT contracts, including enterprise vendor agreements.
  • Strong understanding of P2P lifecycle management, procurement best practices, and the ability to detect and resolve complex procurement challenges.
  • Expertise in SaaS procure-to-pay platforms (Zip experience is ideal, but not required), including the ability to customize workflows and generate advanced reports.
  • Strong analytics skills in Excel/Google Sheets to provide spend and data metric analysis suitable for Executive planning and decision-making.
  • Ability to think critically in the world of tech, consistently offering creative, outside-the-box, and innovative solutions.
  • Passion for the AI / Agentic world and implementing cutting-edge solutions to optimize procurement processes and value delivery.
  • Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills required to partner seamlessly with Executive, Finance, Legal, and IT stakeholders in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, plan work across multiple deadlines, and interpret complex contractual terms in agreements.
  • Comfort working in a constantly evolving, often dynamic environment where structures and processes are continuously refined to support rapid corporate growth
