The Project Procurement Specialist will manage purchase orders, evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure procurement processes align with organization goals. Key responsibilities include supplier relationship management, maintaining procurement documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements effectively.Responsibilities:Assist the project management team in ensuring all required purchasing is processed.Assist with budget setting, administration and reconciliationEnsure that all purchasing activities align with the build schedule and that products are delivered and all scheduling milestones are met.Ensuring all purchasing related activities are completed in accordance to company standards. Negotiating cost effective arrangements with suppliersMaintain accurate inventory counts and actively participate in parts management.Timely reporting and follow up on all ongoing purchases.Administering all day-to-day activities associated with the procurement function.Qualifications:5 years’ experience supporting drilling and service rig constructionPrevious buyer experience with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamPrior experience with an MRP system(s)Superior verbal and written communication skillsPrior use and knowledge of Microsoft Office SuitePrior experience with Sage Accounting would be considered an assetHome based work area with adequate internetAbout the position:Full-time, Monday to FridayTerm Contract: Approximately 18 months with the possibility of extensionHome based Alberta position (Calgary area preferred)Must have your own transportationLocal travel required 3-5 days a week (Calgary and Linden)Travel outside of city of residence to be reimburse by the companyIf you would like to join a cutting edge, dynamic company with competitive compensation packages, benefits and performance-based bonuses please send your resume including cover letter and salary expectations to careers@lynchpinltd.com.
