The Talent Acquisition Specialist partners with Talent Acquisition Team Lead to develop and execute a grassroots talent acquisition strategy. The position plays a key role in the day to day activities of the Talent Acquisition team and is responsible for full cycle recruitment, while ensuring a positive candidate experience that sets Performance Auto Group apart from other dealership groups. You are considered the subject matter expert in recruitment and selection and provide direct support to hiring managers. You are a high energy, results oriented individual with ambition to drive the talent demands to directly support the needs of Performance Auto Groups business units.

Supports the Talent Acquisition Team Lead in the development and execution of the talent acquisition and sourcing strategyServes as lead recruiter for key roles in the organizationConsults with hiring managers to understand needs of the job vacancy requisitionPosts open positions on applicant tracking system and manages assigned requisitionsEmploys creative recruitment marketing techniques to increase visibility to PAG career opportunities on social mediaDevelops and executes creative and proactive candidate sourcing strategiesPre-screens and interviews applicants for open positionsMakes recommendations to hiring managers on candidates based on interview assessmentsCommunicates with applicants and shortlisted candidates to provide candidate status updates Maintains strong pipeline of qualified candidates and cultivates strong network of passive talentProvides guidance to hiring managers on hiring policies and proceduresSupports hiring managers with scheduling and conducting interviewsProvides recruitment related training to hiring managers and other stakeholdersIndependently builds, owns and maintains critical relationships across the businessSupports all strategic recruitment activities and initiativesServes as subject matter expert in talent acquisition analytics and routine reportingCoordinates and supports job fairs and recruitment eventsSupports PAG Students co-op and internship recruitment activitiesAdheres to all applicable federal and provincial regulations and company policiesAssumes other duties or special projects as directed by managementWhat do you need to succeed?
University Degree or College DiplomaSuccessful completion of a post-secondary program in Human ResourcesCHRP Designation is an asset3-5 years in a full cycle recruitment roleAutomotive industry recruitment experience is highly desirableExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate to small and mid size groups for long periods of timePositive "can-do" attitude with ability to work confidently under pressure and manage changing/competing prioritiesExceptional organizational, planning and administrative skills;Proven time management skills with the ability to take initiative in the development and completion of assigned projects and dutiesStrong computer skills including google applications with aptitude to learn and embrace the use of technologyMeticulous attention to detail and accuracy in drafting offer letters and job descriptionsFlexibility and adaptability to changing needs and demands with the willingness to work longer hours as circumstances requireDemonstrates utmost professionalism in the performance of dutiesDiscretion is mandatory as the role involves access to highly confidential informationMust have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving recordAvailability to work on a hybrid scheduleWhat's in it for you?

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent
Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
