SALARY: Starting Salary Opportunity: $22 per hour
Actual base pay will depend and vary based on factors such as individual experience and skills of the applicant.

SHIFT: Day shift. Some weekends required.
Day Shift: 7:00AM – 3:00PM

JOB DESCPETION:
- Responsible for working with Brewing Personnel to provide quality assurance.
- Ensure Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards are maintained.
- Coordinate and lead quality improvement projects.
- Analyze micro, packaging brewing analytical results and follow up as required.
- Comply with environmental, health and safety policies.
- Perform routine testing and analysis of brewing and packaging in-process samples and finished product for tests outlined in mandatory program.
- Data-entry and management responsibilities for quality data into LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).
- Responsible for laboratory equipment cleaning, maintenance and calibration.
- Train and conduct audits to support understanding with operators on quality testing.
- Provide data and analysis to troubleshoot Brewing and Packaging quality issues.
- Review brewing and packaging Quality Control check sheets for any non-conformances and alert department as necessary.
- Support PI tracking and management of Quality related PIs.
- Cross-train in the Micro and Packaging labs for vacation coverage.
- Other duties as necessary.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, food science, microbiology, engineering or any science related field preferred.
- Relevant and applicable experience in Quality control in a food production environment.
- Good communication, impact and influence skills.
- Able to work under minimal supervision, as well as with a team.
- Desire to innovate and ability to ensure continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Proficient Computer skills (excel, word, outlook).
- Knowledge of HACCP (Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Point) principles considered an asset.
- Able to work some weekends when required.
