    1108 Pembroke St E, Pembroke, ON K8A 8P7 | Monday to Sunday: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Responsibilities

Food Service Team Members play a key role in preparing high-quality sushi while ensuring food safety standards, tracking production, managing inventory, and collaborating with store employees in a fast-paced environment.  Full training is provided; prior sushi experience is not required.

  • Prepare sushi and other menu items according to company recipes and quality standards.

  • Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain accurate logs.

  • Track daily production and assist in kitchen operations.

  • Receive, check, and organize inventory, and assist with ordering.

  • Work closely with store staff and management to ensure smooth sushi bar operations.

  • Use Bento operations tools to update production, inventory, and other data.

  • Maintain Bento customer experience standards.

Qualifications

  • Food service experience required; sushi experience is an asset.

  • Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Comfortable using basic technology for communication and training.

  • Ability to lift up to 20 kg (45 lbs).

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.

  • Food Handler Certification is an asset.
