The Compliance Coordinator will report to the Compliance Manager and will support the Compliance department with the implementation, execution and monitoring of our Corporate and Compliance policies, frameworks and regulatory requirements to establish a mature compliance culture that promotes compliance with all laws, regulations, standards and best practices.
HERE'S HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE:
- Support the development, implementation and management of FCT's Vendor Management Program
- Assist with Client Questionnaires and RFPs
- Assist with regulatory compliance and privacy programs, including OSFI, FSRA, FINTRAC, RPAA and other regulatory governing bodies and regulations.
- Participate in various projects pertaining to Legal and Compliance as requested
- Support an effective business compliance partnership program and foster awareness of the company's policies and procedures through regular touchpoints, training and on-going support
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 5-7 years Legal and/or compliance experience, preferably in a financial or insurance institution.
- Excellent communication and influencing experience
- Excellent relationship-building experience to help foster a positive compliance culture
- Team-player and adaptable to a changing environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and document management experience
