JOB DESCRIPTION

ICAN Film Inc is a multidisciplinary media company in Calgary specializing in commercial video production, wedding films, documentaries, real estate marketing and college marketing. Our team also operates Lucy TV, a global streaming platform focused on community storytelling.

We are looking for a Growth Marketing Partner to help shape our marketing direction, create and test campaigns, and generate leads. This role requires someone who thinks like a strategist but works like a builder. You will develop ideas, research search trends, study what people are looking for, and execute campaigns that attract new clients for ICAN Film.

This position blends strategy, content planning, business development and hands on marketing work. It also includes a partnership model where you may develop your own small set of social media clients under the ICAN Film umbrella with access to our studio and meeting room.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow with a media company and take ownership in building marketing systems that make real business impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Research market demand and identify marketing opportunities

Use keyword tools and trend research to plan campaigns

Create and manage content calendars for ICAN Film

Develop and test small ad campaigns on Meta Google and TikTok

Track leads, cost per result and campaign performance

Capture basic behind the scenes content when needed

Plan outreach strategies for weddings, real estate and commercial clients

Assist in building lead funnels and simple landing pages

Prepare proposals and outreach messages

Manage and organize marketing assets in ClickUp and Google Drive

Participate in weekly strategy sessions with the ICAN Film team

Optionally build a small client list under the ICAN Film brand

REQUIREMENTS

Strong interest in digital marketing and business growth

Ability to research trends and interpret data

Comfort with tools such as Google Keyword Planner

Knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram TikTok and YouTube

Basic editing skills are an advantage

Ability to brainstorm creative ideas and execute them

Good communication skills and professionalism

Strong initiative and ability to work independently

Willingness to learn studio workflow

On site availability in Calgary

HOURS

Approximately fifteen to twenty hours weekly

Flexible scheduling

Part time contract position

COMPENSATION

Approximately fifteen per hour depending on experience and weekly hours

Opportunity for additional earnings through the ICAN Film partner model for any outside social media clients you manage under our umbrella
