The Opportunity

RVS invites you to apply for a temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) Kindergarten teaching position starting immediately to June 30, 2026 at RancheView School.

RancheView School, located in the Town of Cochrane, serves students from grades K-8 including the Pre-Kindergarten program. Information regarding this school may be found at

This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.

Pre-employment Requirements

  • Applicants must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certification with Alberta Education at .

  • The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of the start of your employment

  • Applicants must provide a professional letter of reference, attached to the job application, from their most recent supervisor, relevant to the job opportunity, written on company letterhead, signed and dated within the past 18 months; or a list of updated references of a current/recent supervisor on your application.
