Company truck, gas card, company pays to update your certifications and keep them current.  Cell phone provided by Door Doctor.  Key Responsibilities:· Customer service, commercial repairs and or installations · Prepares work orders for clients and completes other required reports · Prepare quotations and provide recommendations to clients based on on-site inspections and observations· Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to clients, management, and administration, including current and future service needs, repairs, and any suggested equipment replacements for door and dock systems· Performs all work in a company provided truck · Works in partnership and communicates with the management and administration in relation to fulfilling service requirements for commercial clients· Performs as an integral part of the client focused team all working together to serve our clients Qualifications and Skills:· Proven experience as a Commercial Overhead Door & Dock Technician· Strong communication skills, in person and by phone· Experience as a Lead Technician working alongside an assistant is a plus· Skilled in customer service and relationship management· Proficient with completing reports, work orders, and job documentation· Technical expertise in:· Overhead door and dock systems· Electric operator installations and repairs· Low-voltage wiring· High-speed doors, gate operators, and dock equipment· Pedestrian doors (asset)· Comfortable with hand/power tools, lifts, ladders, torches· Welding, framing, and cladding experience is considered an asset· Valid driver's license required· Able to work independently, solve problems, and take initiative· Willing to work occasional overtimeSchedule:· Monday to Friday · 7:30 am - 5:00 pmWhat we offer:· Pay: $25-$35 per hour· Overtime pay· Company provided work truck · Company cell phone and power tools· Comprehensive benefits, including:· Dental care· Disability insurance· Extended health care· Life insurance· Vision care· Signing Bonus & Relocation Assistance available to successful candidates outside the Ottawa/Eastern Ontario area.
