Haliscape Construction is hiring experienced skid steer operators for the winter season. This is an on call position ideal for operators who want extra income during the winter months and enjoy working independently with heavy equipment. When snow events happen our team responds quickly to clear commercial properties and maintain safe access for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a skid steer safely and efficiently during snow events
  • Clear commercial parking lots drive lanes loading areas and access zones
  • Apply salt or ice control products when needed
  • Respond promptly when called for a snow event day or night
  • Work safely during snowy icy and low visibility conditions
  • Follow direction from the foreman and communicate with the snow removal team
  • Arrive on time and ready to work when contacted for a shift

Requirements

  • Previous experience operating a skid steer is required
  • Snow removal experience is an asset but not required
  • Valid drivers license is mandatory
  • Must have reliable transportation to get to the shop or job sites at any hour
  • Able to work outdoors in winter weather
  • Reliable punctual and able to work independently
  • Strong attention to safety and equipment care

Availability

  • This position is on call 24/7 depending on weather conditions. Shifts may occur early mornings, daytime, evenings, overnight, weekends, or holidays depending on when snow arrives. This role is ideal for operators with flexible schedules or those looking for additional seasonal income.
