Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-casual restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have the ability to thrive in a busy setting. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality food and service.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests promptly.
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
  • Provide recommendations for food and beverage selections, enhancing the dining experience through effective upselling techniques.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling practices throughout shifts.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and presentation.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction with their dining experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during peak hours.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices is essential.
