As our team is growing, we are currently searching for a mature, hard working, friendly, self-motivated individual, to join our clinic as our Medical Office Assistant. A strong work ethic and reliability is essential. Experience in hospitality would be an asset.

The successful candidate must be able to work well both independently and as a team member, have excellent interpersonal skills, and possess an eagerness to learn the skills and knowledge required to provide support to our busy clinic. Being able to problem solve is essential.

Job description

Fast paced, high volume specialist clinic requiring friendly, out going, task and detail oriented office assistant.

Primary responsibilities may include:

  • Answering phones
  • Greet and register medical patients and cosmetic clients
  • Schedule appointments/procedures
  • Appointment confirmations
  • Maintain patient records using Accuro EMR and Zenoti
  • General office duties such as faxing and email communication as required
  • Escort patients to examination rooms
  • Sales of skincare products
  • Take payments using POS system
  • Maintain tidiness of reception and waiting areas
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • Be reliable, dependable, organized and professional at all times

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

· Successful completion of a recognized medical office assistant program or hospitality training

· Experience working in a medical office setting would be an asset

· Experience working on Accuro EMR platform would be an asset

· Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications

· Ability to multitask

· Ability to work independently as well as in a team-focused environment

· Attention to detail with an efficient and organized work ethic

· Strong written and oral communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00 per hour
