Automotive Technician – Ford Dealership (Day & Night Shifts)

Location: Edmonton, AB

Job Type: Full-time, On-site

About Us

We are a high-volume Ford service department in Edmonton with 47 service bays, including specialized bays and strong parts support. We offer steady hours, OEM training, and the opportunity to work on everything from routine maintenance to complex diagnostics and major repairs.

We are hiring Automotive Technicians (Journeypersons and experienced Apprentices) for both day and evening/night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Ford vehicles (and other makes as required)

· Complete a mix of work including routine services, electrical diagnostics, and major component replacements

· Use OEM diagnostic equipment, service information, and digital inspection tools

· Accurately document findings, recommendations, and labor times on repair orders

· Work closely with Service Advisors to ensure clear communication and timely updates

· Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

· Participate in ongoing training and certification opportunities

What We're Looking For

· Journeyperson Automotive Technician (Red Seal or equivalent) or 3rd/4th year Apprentice

· Dealership experience preferred; Ford experience and OEM certifications are strong assets

· Solid diagnostic and problem-solving skills; interest in electrical and drivability issues is a plus

· Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment while maintaining quality

· Reliable, professional, and team-oriented

Schedule

· Full-time

· Day Shift: Standard daytime hours

· Evening/Night Shift: Monday–Thursday, approximately 2:00pm–10:00pm (primarily fleet work)

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
