Automotive Service Advisor – High-Volume Ford Dealership (Edmonton)

Location: Edmonton, AB

Job Type: Full-time, On-site

About Us

We are a high-volume Ford service department in Edmonton with one of the largest facilities in Western Canada. With 47 service bays, OEM-trained technicians, and modern tools and technology, we support a strong, team-focused culture and a loyal customer base.

We're looking for an Automotive Service Advisor who thrives in a busy shop, communicates clearly with customers, and wants to grow in a high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Greet customers and perform thorough intake of concerns and maintenance needs

· Accurately write and update repair orders in the DMS

· Review technician inspections and prepare clear, transparent estimates

· Present recommended work to customers, explain priority and benefits, and obtain approvals

· Communicate with customers throughout the repair using phone, text, and digital tools

· Coordinate with technicians and parts to manage timelines and expectations

· Proactively book follow-up/next appointments and promote valet/mobile options where appropriate

· Support a positive customer experience and help maintain strong satisfaction scores

What We're Looking For

· 2+ years' experience as a Service Advisor in a dealership or busy independent shop

· Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to explain technical work in plain language

· Proven ability to handle a high volume of repair orders while staying organized

· Comfortable using technology (DMS, scheduling, texting, video estimates, etc.)

· Customer-first mindset with a focus on trust, transparency, and long-term relationships

· Team player who collaborates well with technicians, parts, and management
