We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality dishes and supporting the overall food service process. Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and restaurant standards
  • Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
  • Follow food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
  • Assist with plating and garnishing dishes before serving
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
  • Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely service
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line/prep cook in a restaurant setting
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of meal preparation processes within the food industry
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately and adapt as needed based on menu requirements
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with kitchen team members

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
