Job Summary:
The Driver Supervisor acts as the key link between company leadership and the driver team, ensuring alignment of expectations, performance, and communication. This role focuses on managing relationships, fostering a positive work environment, and addressing issues proactively to achieve operational and driver satisfaction.

Work Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the main point of contact between drivers and company management.
  • Clearly communicate company goals, policies, and performance expectations to drivers.
  • Advocate for drivers' needs, feedback, and concerns to ensure fair treatment and mutual understanding.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with drivers through regular communication and coaching.
  • Address performance or behavioral issues with professionalism, empathy, and accountability.
  • Promote a culture of respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives for drivers.
  • Monitor driver performance metrics and work collaboratively to achieve operational targets.
     
Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Proven ability to manage people with empathy and professionalism.
  • Skilled at handling difficult conversations while achieving positive outcomes.
  • Understanding of human behavior, motivation, and conflict resolution.
  • Experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations is an asset.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken
