What you will do:

Reporting to the Manager, End User Technical Support, the End User Technical Support Specialist role will play a key role in creating seamless technology experiences for our teams. In this role, you'll provide hands-on day-to-day 2nd level support that helps employees stay productive with the tools they use every day. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to exciting projects assisting with the deployment of new theatre, location-based entertainment, and corporate systems.

This is a hybrid position (3 days in the office per week). Office location is 1303 Yonge Street, Toronto.

Responsibilities

  • Support end users across theatres, LBE venues, and corporate offices by resolving escalated technical issues both in person and remotely.

  • Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software challenges.

  • Contribute to application packaging, deployments, documentation, and release management using automation and orchestration tools.

  • Take part in major technology rollouts, including POS upgrades, PC and laptop refreshes, printer and network upgrades, digital signage, and A/V deployments.

  • Serve as a technical expert within cross‑functional PMO project teams.

  • Partner with third‑party vendors on hardware/software procurement and telecom support.

  • Manage user onboarding and offboarding, ensuring proper hardware allocation and license assignment.

  • Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule to support critical issues.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a computer related course of study or equivalent experience required.

  • 3-5 years of I.T. related experience (Help Desk or End Support).

  • Experience with POS system support would be an asset

  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and Azure

  • Experience supporting POS systems and delivering user training or customer‑facing technical support.

  • Azure Administrator Associate, Modern Desktop Admin Associate or relevant Microsoft certification is preferred

  • Proactive, customer‑focused approach with strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Familiarity with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) and automation or endpoint management tools such as Endpoint Manager, JAMF, and PowerShell is preferred.

  • Experience with Vista POS software is an asset.
