Landscape Construction Foreman / ForewomanWhistler / Pemberton | Full-time seasonal (April – November)
We are a Sea-to-Sky landscape construction company with over 20 years in the Whistler area, and we're looking for a skilled Landscape Construction Foreman to help lead our crews on high-end residential and custom landscape projects.
Our work is design-driven and detail-focused. We build and maintain residential landscapes alongside our in-house design team and leading landscape architects. Projects often include complex hardscape, natural stone, softscaping, and creative solutions tailored to our mountain environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes pride in craftsmanship, and wants to work on landscapes that are anything but standard. We are outdoorsy people and also understand the importance of work-life balance in a mountain town, which is why we run a 4-day work week with 3-day weekends all season, designed to leave time for skiing, biking, and life outside of work.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage a small crew on active landscape construction sites in Whistler and Pemberton
- Read and interpret construction drawings and details
- Coordinate daily work plans, materials, and equipment
- Execute hardscape and landscape installations to a high standard
- Maintain safe, organized, and professional job sites
- Communicate clearly with management, designers, and clients
- Mentor crew members and help develop skills on site
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, with foreman or lead-hand experience
- Strong knowledge of landscape construction (pavers, retaining walls, natural stone, grading, drainage, softscaping, etc.)
- Ability to manage a site independently and keep projects moving efficiently, with safety as the top priority
- Comfortable working from detailed plans and collaborating with designers
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience operating machinery and small equipment (excavator, skid steer, plate tamper, laser level, etc.)
- Valid driver's license (heavy trailer endorsement an asset)
- Enjoys working outdoors in all types of weather, rain or shine
- A genuine interest in quality work and well-built landscapes
What we offer
- Competitive wages $38 to $45 per hour, based on experience
- Structured 40-hour, 4-day work week (10-hour days) with consistent 3-day weekends
- Company work vehicle provided during the season
- Consistent, well-planned projects using high-quality equipment and materials
- A company with a strong reputation in the Whistler area
- Long-term growth opportunities, apprenticeships and training programs
- Fun staff events and team outings
If you're a capable foreman who wants to build exceptional landscapes in the Sea-to-Sky and be part of a company that values craftsmanship and making the most of where we live, we'd love to hear from you.
