Les Bertram & Sons Ltd. is a General Contractor in business since 1939. We primarily work within the Simcoe County Region and north.

We are looking for a skilled individual with a minimum of 5 years experience who can work successfully in a team environment.

Licence/Certification:

  • Class G Licence (required)
  • Working at Heights Certificate (required)

Working under the direction of the site supervisor, skilled labourers perform a variety of duties while adhering to our health and safety policies. Duties may include the following: the use of hand tools for rough carpentry, hoarding and drywall framing and installation, demolition, removal of debris, load or unload building materials, pick up and delivery of materials to project sites. In addition, previous experience reading construction drawings is beneficial.

Monday - Friday 42.5 hour work week with overtime as required.

Health benefits supplied and paid by employer after 3 months probation period.

Must be punctual, able to take direction and be a team player.

Class G drivers license is required. Working at Heights certification is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: To be determined based on experience.

Summary

As a Construction Skilled Labourer, you will be an essential part of our construction team, reporting to the Site Supervisor. Your primary responsibilities will include utilizing hand and power tools to assist in various construction tasks, such as concrete forming, carpentry, and drywall framing. With a focus on safety, you will be required to hold a Working at Heights Certificate. Join us to help build and shape our community.

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
