Accounting Clerk

**Accounting Clerk**

**The following are the key responsibilities for the position**:

- Posts time to projects/equipment from daily timesheets
- Posts approved invoices (with matched packing slips) into business system
- Reconciles supplier statements to business system
- Files all accounts payable and receivable documentation
- Collects outstanding accounts receivable
- Coordinates mail and courier
- Organizes release of payments to suppliers
- Updates WSIB clearance into business system
- Maintains file management system both for electronic and paper correspondence documents
- Performs general office and administrative support as required.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of a diploma in Accounting or a related field of study
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in a related field
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills (oral and written)
- Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team
- Detail oriented, excellent organizational, people and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work in a time efficient manner
