SUMMARY:

We are a Pharmasave located on Oak and 15th in Vancouver. We are looking to hire a permanent, part-time staff pharmacist to join our independent, locally-owned pharmacy team. We are a rapidly growing pharmacy in an excellent community in Vancouver and offer competitive wages/benefits, good hours (no Sundays, no stats, and no night shifts), and a fun, friendly working atmosphere.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Registered pharmacist with College of Pharmacists of BC, in good standing
  • Certified immunizer, with a valid 1st aid/injunction certification
  • Prior 4 years retail pharmacy experience is preferred
  • Prior experience with Kroll is required

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide accurate and timely dispensing of medications
  • Counseling on medications and recommending OTC products in a warm and friendly manner
  • Performing medication reviews, emergency supplies, adaptations, and vaccinations for eligible patients
  • Work closely with Doctors and other health professionals in the area to build a strong, collaborative pharmacy practice
  • Ability to work in a small, friendly, family-style work environment and be able to multitask and support the team

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour

Experience:

  • pharmacist: 4 years (required)
  • using Kroll Software: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Pharmacy License (preferred)
  • license with the College Of Pharmacists of BC (required)
  • Injection Certification/First Aid Course (preferred)
