The Blueprint

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a pivotal role in the recruitment of top talent for  the Tridel Group of Companies ('the Company"). This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process and building relationships with universities, career centers, and other key external partners. As a one-person team, this role will operate independently, with no direct reports, and will be the sole individual responsible for talent acquisition activities across the company. You will be a key player in enhancing our employer brand and attracting top-tier candidates for a variety of roles. 

A Glimpse into Your Daily Activities

Recruitment 

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for positions across Tridel Group of Companies which include sourcing, assessing, and presenting candidates to the hiring managers
  • Develop job descriptions, post job openings and manage the applicant tracking systems (ATS) to ensure information is accurately represented in a concise manner. 
  • Conduct initial screenings, schedule interviews, and support hiring managers in decision-making  
  • Utilize Screening tools for assessing candidates and providing recommendations to hiring managers. 
  • Provide a positive candidate experience by ensuring timely communication and feedback. 
  • Partner with recruitment agencies to source specialized talent for executive level positions as needed. 

Candidate Experience and Onboarding  

  • Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and providing timely updates. 
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks including background checks and reference checks through the ATS.  
  • Assist with offer letter preparation by providing necessary details to ensure employment agreements are completed accurately in a timely fashion.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with hiring managers across Tridel Group of Companies to understand specific role requirements, project demands, and team dynamics while ensuring we are aligned with the Company's Recruitment and Governance Policy. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing market insights and recommendations to improve hiring strategies.  

Employer Branding and Marketing

  • Support initiatives to strengthen the company's brand which include creating recruitment campaigns and showcasing organizational culture. 
  • Leverage social media, company websites, and industry events to promote the organization as an employer of choice.

Reporting and Compliance

  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and generate reports on key metrics, such as time-to-fill, job board activity and other metrics as needed. 
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, industry regulations and company policies.

The Architect of Your Success

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field. 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition with a focus on high-volume or specialized recruitment (preferably in real estate or construction industries). 
  • Predictive Index Professional Certification is an asset.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding. 
  • Strong ability to use various recruitment platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, industry networks, etc.) and social media to attract top talent. 
  • Experience with structured interviews, behavioral assessments, and skills testing. 
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruitment tools, and HR software (preferably Dayforce). 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively engage with candidates and internal stakeholders. 
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and external stakeholders. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
