About The Role
We're looking for a Security Advisor Specialist to join our growing team

What You'll Do Here
Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) & Secure Private Access

  • Support the design and implementation of a ZTNA architecture to replace traditional VPN access with identity-based, application-level private access.
  • Collaborate with network, identity, and endpoint teams to define user-to-application access policies aligned with the Zero Trust model.
  • Assist in deploying and tuning ZTNA platforms (e.g., Zscaler Private Access, Netskope Private Access, Prisma Access, Cloudflare Zero Trust).
  • Participate in integration with Identity Providers (IdP) (Azure AD, Okta) for conditional access and continuous verification.
  • Document and validate the VPN decommissioning strategy, ensuring secure migration of remote and internal users to ZTNA.

Network Detection and Response (NDR)

  • Implement and maintain NDR solutions to monitor network traffic for suspicious behavior and lateral movement.
  • Analyze alerts, perform network forensics, and collaborate with the SOC to fine-tune detections.
  • Improve network telemetry coverage to support threat hunting and investigations.

Endpoint Security Support

  • Collaborate closely with the Endpoint Security team to ensure endpoint coverage, visibility, and correlation between EDR/XDR and network telemetry.
  • Support EDR policy tuning, incident investigation, and endpoint hardening initiatives.
  • Assist in integration of endpoint and ZTNA agents to enforce device posture checks before granting access.

What You Bring To The Table

  • University degree in information security or any combination of equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in information technology, more specifically in information technology security
  • Security certification would be an asset (CISSP, CCSP, ZTA, etc)
  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles (NIST SP and ZTNA architectures.
  • Experience with ZTNA or Secure Private Access solutions (Zscaler, Netskope, Prisma Access, Cloudflare, Cisco Duo).
  • Understanding of identity-based access controls, device posture validation, and application segmentation.
  • Familiarity with VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL VPN) and migration strategies to ZTNA.
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, proxies, and firewalls.
  • Hands-on experience with EDR/XDR (CrowdStrike, Defender for Endpoint, SentinelOne, Carbon Black).
  • Strong ethical principles and understanding of business and information security ethics
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country
