Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pro Shop Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the golf course pro shop. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and excellent communication abilities. This role involves supervising 3-4 staff members, managing pro shop sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage scheduling tee times and cart rentals through the POS system
  • Manage scheduling of Pro Shop staff to provide service to members and public players
  • Coordinate purchasing and sales of golf accessories
  • Organize external and club tournaments
  • Oversea the operation and maintenance of the driving range
  • Maintenance of membership records

Skills

  • Proven supervising experience within retail or similar environments is essential
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Familiarity with operating and maintaining a POS system, and administrative processes
  • Customer service orientation with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends, is essential
  • Understanding of a golf course environment through work or golfing activity is required
