Job Description

We are seeking
five Journeyperson Carpenters (Lathers/Interior Systems Mechanics)
to join the Cowichan Hospital Redevelopment Project through our signatory contractor,
Dryco Systems
.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Installing steel stud walls, drywall, and compound materials

  • Building and finishing acoustic walls and ceilings

  • Working safely and efficiently within a commercial construction environment

Candidates must be physically fit and capable of handling materials such as steel studs and drywall, and must have their own hand tools.

Technical Qualifications

  • Trade Qualification:
    Carpenter-Lather (Interior Systems Mechanic)

  • Experience:
    Minimum 6 years of drywall installation experience on commercial projects

  • Certifications (Preferred):

  • Fall Protection

  • Mobile Elevated Work Platform Operator Certificate

  • Physical Requirements:

  • Must be physically fit and able to lift and carry materials such as steel studs and drywall.
