Garage Door Technician/Installer

We are looking for a full-time garage door technician that can complete or assist with installations and services of both commercial and residential garage doors and operators. Willing to train as needed.

Job Duties:

Installing garage doors in both residential and commercial buildings

Repair and maintenance of garage doors and systems

Ensuring a high level of customer service

Maintaining a clean and safe work site

Completing paperwork as required

Qualifications:

Grade 12 or equivalent preferred

Valid G driver's license and acceptable driving abstract

Previous experience is an asset; employer is willing to train the right candidate

Mechanically inclined, physically capable of some heavy lifting and working at a fast pace

Familiar with the use of small hand and power tools

Comfortable working at heights, including ladders & lift equipment (ie. scissor lift)

Additional Information:

Position is full time; Monday - Friday

Wage is competitive and TBD based on experience

Reliable transportation to and from shop; employer provides work vehicle to job sites
