Summary

We are seeking an experienced garage door sales professional to join our team at The Garage Door Depot. In this role, you will be responsible for selling garage doors to customers in their homes. Your expertise will help ensure our customers receive the highest level of service and are treated with respect. Our Training Program was built to help you succeed, with supervisory and management positions available in the future

Responsibilities

  • Follow up with company provided customer leads, prequalify and set at home appointments for new door sales.
  • Present to customers and consultatively sell garage doors and Maintenance Programs.
  • Generate new business through referrals and prospecting, with at least 10 percent of sales coming from these efforts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions.
  • Quote and share detailed information on styles, colours and garage door materials using company iPad and software programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of opportunity status, follow up, project timeline, handle concerns, and problem solve
  • Attend company sales and product knowledge training.

Requirements

  • Sales Experience in the garage door industry is our top candidate..
  • Strong closing skills and persistant follow up to achieve company quotas.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must have a vehicle and a current driver's license
  • Must have strong attention to detail and time management skills
