Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the window and door industry (installation and/or service)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Strong time-management, organization, and ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence with clean driving record (driver's abstract required)
  • Must be bondable (criminal record check required)
  • Trailer towing experience is an asset
  • Siding and roofing experience is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site lockout services, install screens and crank handles, and adjust windows/doors as needed
  • Complete service calls for both new-construction and renovation projects
  • Report installation deficiencies to the Install Manager
  • Maintain and stock service vehicle with commonly used parts
  • Order additional parts as required
  • Ensure showroom products remain in excellent working condition
  • Track parts used, hours worked, and kilometers traveled
  • Assist with warehouse tasks as required
  • Attend safety and team meetings
  • Occasional out-of-town service (hotel accommodation provided when required)

Compensation

  • Hourly base pay + 6% vacation pay
  • Company vehicle provided

mileage reimbursement if using your own vehicle
