Our Global Wealth Management Engineering team is hiring a Team Lead

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

Participate in daily Scrum meeting Review team members codes – use a peer review system for code review Refining sessions -look ahead at upcoming work – provide estimatesChampions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.Work with product owners and business system analysts to refine ticket requirements in JIRA and Confluence and implement documented designs.Collaborate closely with a team of Android, IOS, and other backend developers to work on both new features and incremental improvements to the bank's flagship mobile apps Adhere to and demonstrate good coding conventions and best practicesLead by example, a team of API developers, to design and implement best-in-class performance, scalability, reliability & resiliencyWork with Architect to document system design, manage vulnerabilities found in automated secure scans.Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.

6+ years of previous experience of Microservices development on Cloud platforms such as Azure or Google cloud6+ years of applying clean code architecture and TDD methodologies, 5+ years of and other tools used in RESTful API Development1+ years of experience leading a team of developersPrevious experience with Authentication SystemsExperience building applications that are highly performant, scalable and resilient.Extensive automated testing & integration testing exposureExperience with api risk management methodologiesCompetent in software engineering and computer science principles
