We are seeking professional and motivated
Full-Time Security Guards
to join our team in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols of hospital premises including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and restricted zones.
  • Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, responding promptly to suspicious activity or security breaches.
  • Control access to the hospital and ensure only authorized individuals enter sensitive areas.
  • Assist during emergency situations including fire alarms, medical emergencies, and evacuations.
  • Greet and assist visitors and patients while maintaining hospital policy compliance.
  • De-escalate conflicts calmly and professionally, ensuring safety for all parties.
  • Complete accurate incident and daily activity reports.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff and law enforcement to maintain a secure environment.
  • Uphold hospital safety standards and respond appropriately to violations.

Requirements

  • Valid Security License for the Province of Ontario
  • Valid First Aid & CPR Level C certification from a WSIB-approved provider
  • COVID-19 vaccination (two doses)
  • Proof of up-to-date immunization for MMRV (Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Varicella) and two-step Tuberculosis test
  • Willingness to complete N95 Mask Fit testing during training
  • Vulnerable Sector Check
  • English fluency (oral and written) required
  • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred
  • Ability to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
  • Applicants without certifications may complete Paladin's UOF/MOAB training program prior to onboarding
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
