Job Overview

As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your role is crucial in creating a positive experience by effectively managing customer interactions and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the front of house area.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus, ensuring they feel welcome from the moment they enter.
  • In addition, our FOH Team Members prepare custom, made-to-order cinnamon rolls and other bakery items for customers.
  • You must be comfortable operating a commercial oven, and follow specific quality control procedures.
  • This person will maintain a clean store including mopping, sanitizing food prep area, routine dusting, general disinfecting, and washing dishes using three compartment sink.
  • Must be customer-service driven, have reliable transportation, able to lift up to 50 lbs. and have excellent verbal communication skills, and basic math skills.
  • Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards by properly handling food items and sanitizing work areas regularly.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the front of house area.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer concerns promptly.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a friendly manner.

Requirements

  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when needed.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business needs.
