Job Description
We are hiring Survey Interviewers to support an in-person research project in the Calgary. This role involves approaching members of the public in high-traffic areas and assisting them with completing a short survey using a tablet or mobile device.
This is a flexible, short-term opportunity ideal for individuals who are comfortable engaging with people and following clear instructions.
Location: Calgary
Job Type: Part-time / Contract
Duration: Short-term project (2–3 weeks)
Schedule: Flexible
Key Responsibilities
- Approach members of the public in approved public locations
- Confirm basic eligibility before participation
- Provide respondents with a device to complete the survey
- Remain nearby to assist if questions arise
- Follow all project guidelines and ethical standards
- Submit daily completion updates after each shift
Compensation
- Paid per completed survey
- Additional fixed commute allowance
- Extra compensation available if using additional devices
- Payments are made based on validated completed surveys
Requirements
- Comfortable speaking with the public in person
- Reliable and professional demeanor
- Ability to follow instructions and meet daily reporting requirements
- Access to a smartphone or tablet
- PayPal account required for incentive handling
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Availability
- Flexible schedule
- Ability to work during daytime and early evening hours is preferred
- Project runs for approximately 14–20 days, depending on completion targets
