Tidewater plans to achieve its business objective by providing customers with a full service, vertically integrated value chain, including gas plants, pipelines, railcars, export terminals, storage, downstream facilities, and various renewable initiatives.Tidewater has an immediate opening for anEnvironmental Coordinatorreporting to the Manager – Regulatory, Environment, and ARO.This is a full-time position based out of ourCalgary Head Office. This is a fast paced, deadline driven role that requires superb organizational skills, attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to multi-task.Summary of Responsibilities:· Coordinate and support Corporate environmental and ARO activities in Alberta and BC· Develop optimized annual work plans with service providers· Participate in ARO work planning and budget creation, followed by executing on approved budget· Efficiently manage and update large datasets of Company assets (> 1,000 licenses)· Manage monitoring and reporting obligations of EPEA approvals· Provide peer review of third-party plans and reports· AFE creation, maintenance, and supplementation; invoice management· Support Operations with daily environmental advisory and direction.· Identify areas for improvement, efficiency, and cost reduction in Tidewater's full suite of environmental programs· Pursuing creative and innovative solutions to complex environmental issues· Relationship-building with Regulatory bodies to enable collaborative paths to success· Clear, concise, and accurate communication of environmental regulations, updates, and nuances to senior levels· Ability to quickly learn, understand, and execute unique remediation and reclamation scenarios· Participate in, and represent Tidewater at, Industry committees and initiativesQualifications/Skills:· Must have a minimum of 7 years environmental experience in the oil and gas industry. Experience in the midstream space is a significant asset· Bachelor of Science – Environmental Science· Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel· Outstanding attention to detail· Full understanding of closure spend quotas in Alberta and dormancy and shutdown quotas in BC· Comprehensive understanding of theRemediation Regulation,EPEA, Remediation Guidelines,Contaminated Sites Policy Framework, ESA standards, and BC versions· Ability to work collaboratively with many internal stakeholdersCompetencies:· Passionate about optimizing programs to maximize efficiency of spend· Self-motivated to proactively adapt to changing regulations· Polished verbal and written communication skills· Ability to manage tens of concurrent priorities and deadlines· Analytical mindsetCompensation:We offer a competitive compensation package including an attractive base salary, short term and long-term incentive plans.Employee Benefits:Tidewater offers a comprehensive benefit package, designed to prioritize the well-being of you and your family.
