Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and technically adept Principal Product Manager to lead the development and delivery of enterprise-grade software products. This role includes direct people management responsibilities and requires deep technical fluency in Java full-stack development and data center capacity planning. You will drive product strategy, execution, and cross-functional alignment to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
Responsibilities
Product Leadership
- Define and execute product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals
- Lead product lifecycle from ideation to launch and iteration, ensuring timely delivery and quality
- Collaborate with engineering, UX, marketing, and sales to ensure product-market fit and adoption
People Management
- Manage and mentor a team of product owners and business analysts
- Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, feedback, and career development
- Conduct regular performance reviews and support professional growth and development
- Drive team alignment with organizational priorities and product goals
Vendor Management
- Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors and external partners
- Negotiate contracts, manage vendor performance, and ensure alignment with product and organizational goals
- Monitor vendor deliverables and ensure compliance with quality and timeline expectations
Technical Ownership
- Serve as the technical liaison between product and engineering teams, especially in Java-based full-stack environments
- Translate complex technical requirements into clear product features and user stories
- Ensure architectural alignment with enterprise standards and scalability needs
Data Center Capacity Management
- Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to align product growth with data center capacity planning
- Understand and incorporate constraints and forecasts related to space, power, and cooling into product planning
- Ensure product scalability and availability by proactively managing infrastructure dependencies
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience managing software products in enterprise or SaaS environments
- Strong technical background in Java full-stack development (Spring Boot, REST APIs, Angular/React, etc.)
- Hands-on experience or strong understanding of data center capacity management, including space, power, and cooling considerations
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies with a track record of leading cross-functional Agile teams
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud environment
- Background in product analytics and customer feedback loops
- Prior experience in building custom applications
The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 139, ,000 CAD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
