You'll dive into data to optimize content performance and drive the evolution of our digital strategy, fueling brand buzz and building a vibrant, connected community. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build Awareness:
Increase Parq Casinos brand visibility by producing content and executing plans across social media platforms. Implement the annual social strategy and make ongoing adjustments to meet awareness and engagement KPIs. - Social Content Creation & Photoshoot Management:
Own the end-to-end process of social media content—from concept development to creation, scheduling, and publishing—across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and additional platforms. Produce a mix of short-form video and static content designed to drive engagement, incorporating storytelling, strong hooks, trending moments, and a consistent brand voice. - Take the lead in planning, coordinating, and executing quarterly photoshoots, including developing shot lists, mood boards, and collaborating with photographers and internal teams.
- This role requires comfort and confidence being on-camera for content, as well as encouraging and directing others across departments to participate in branded content
. - Analyze & Share Social Insights:
- Monitor content performance to identify key trends and opportunities. Present findings and recommendations in quarterly meetings, while continuously optimizing content in real-time.
- Copywriting & Event Listings:
Craft compelling copy for social media and website content that aligns with current campaigns and initiatives. Write and manage event listings across all platforms, ensuring consistency and alignment with marketing efforts. - Manage Community Engagement :
Engage directly within our social media community by responding to comments and mentions in a timely, on-brand voice Support charitable and community- based initiatives under Parq's social impact umbrella - Work Cross-Functionally:
Collaborate cross functionally with operations teams to create engaging content across property departments, to uncover stories, promotions, and initiatives that can be turned into engaging, on-brand content. Act as a creative liaison between teams to ensure all content reflects the voice, tone, and goals of both the marketing department and internal stakeholders. - Event Attendance:
Attend events on and off-site for the casino to capture content aligned with the social media strategy
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in marketing, communications, arts or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years creating and managing significant social communities is an asset.
- Experience managing brand accounts across all major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
- Confident analyzing content performance using platform analytics and reporting tools, identifying insights to inform strategy and drive continuous improvement.
- Social savvy and advanced understanding of the impact of social media.
- Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite and strong skills in Canva to create graphics for engaging posts, edit and enhance posts, and create reels is a strongly desired asset.
- Photography and videographer experience considered a strong asset.
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to craft compelling, on-brand messaging tailored to various audiences and platforms.
- A portfolio showcasing content samples, design work, and written posts may be requested.
CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to obtain a valid GPEB registration
- Ability to complete all BCLC required trainings
- Serving it Right Certification
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to lift, handle, and transport materials that are over 20lbs
- Required to sit, stand and walk during working hours
