Pharmasave #422 is looking for a Delivery Driver to join our team in Saskatoon-Central Ave, Saskatchewan.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform pickups and deliveries of medications and medical supplies throughout Saskatoon
  • Reports directly to the Delivery Manager
  • Maintains safety and security of all cargo
  • Performs daily vehicle inspections
  • Fuels and cleans the company van regularly
  • Update and utilize the vehicle maintenance log binder
  • Complete delivery documentation and ensure delivery slips are signed and submitted.
  • Reports any vehicle issues or service needs to the Delivery Manager
  • Postmark and mail all outgoing mail daily
  • Complete daily bank deposits
  • Maintain delivery vehicles, including cleanliness, fuel, oil, tires, and general upkeep
  • Lifts and maneuvers large packages as required
  • Organizes and distributes merchandise
  • Maintains accurate records
  • Carries out additional duties assigned by the Delivery Manager

Qualifications: 

  • Candidates must possess a valid and permanent provincial driver's licence with a safe driving record for the past 3 years. 
  • Driver's abstract (dated within 30 days) required
  • Maintain the safety and integrity of the company vehicle. 
  • Trustworthy and dependable, with a high level of professionalism
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers and team members
  • Ability to follow procedures and guidelines accurately
  • Ability to lift and maneuver large packages
  • Criminal Record Check required  

Schedule: 

  • 18 hours per week. (Part-time)
  • The typical schedule includes two weekday shifts per week, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., along with occasional weekend shifts: Saturdays from either 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Availability for both weekdays and weekends is required.
