Responsibilities

  • Safely operate various vehicles including box trucks and courier vans to deliver products to customers' locations.
  • Load and unload goods using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling of all items.
  • Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery schedules.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and addressing concerns during deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs and receipts, and report any issues or delays promptly.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report maintenance needs as necessary.
  • Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management and moving stock when required.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Parcel delivery driver or courier, with a strong understanding of route driving and time management.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Experience operating commercial vehicles, especially box trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles with manual transmissions.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and moving items.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred) and pallet jacks.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving, loading/unloading cargo, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; specific experience with drivers or similar classifications is advantageous. Pay: $450.00-$500.00 per day
