Markham, Ontario, Canada Hair Salon and Day Spa Full time $17,320 per year

We are seeking a full-time cashier for our busy bakery. This is a permanent position (NOT seasonal). ONLY EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES WHO QUALIFY SHOULD APPLY

Candidates must be reliable and available to work varying shifts. Candidates MUST also be available to work on Saturdays.

We are looking for committed individuals to join our team; this position requires flexible availability and MUST work on Saturday.

Main duties:

  • Perform cashier duties
  • Assist in preparation of baked goods
  • Provide a fast, efficient, and friendly shopping experience.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the store front
  • Cleanliness of the whole store
  • Perform opening and closing procedures properly
  • Restocking shelves
  • Assist in receiving product deliveries.

Requirement:

  • Operate cash register
  • Process money, and credit and debit card payments
  • Scan items
  • Receive payment for goods or services
  • Stock shelves and clean counter area
  • Wrap or place merchandise in bags
  • Provide customer service
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous work experience is a plus + but not required. If you are willing to learn, we are eager to train you.
