Job Description:

Our client, a global leader in interactive entertainment, is seeking a Player Experience Manager (Insights) to lead a global research team driving player-first strategy for one of the world's most iconic sports franchises.

This role goes beyond research execution, you'll shape the strategy that influences gameplay, monetization, and live service experiences. The ideal candidate has deep experience leading player/user research teams, aligning insights with business objectives, and inspiring product direction at scale.

This is a hybrid role 3 days/week n Vancouver, BC.

*Key Responsibilities*

  • Lead and mentor a global team of player researchers, ensuring high-quality, high-impact research delivery.
  • Align research initiatives with product and business strategy to drive meaningful outcomes for the soccer franchise.
  • Translate player insights into actionable recommendations that influence design, gameplay, and monetization.
  • Act as the voice of the player to leadership and stakeholders across design, product, and live service teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to embed player insights throughout the product development cycle.

*Qualifications*

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Market Research, Data Science, HCI) or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years in the gaming industry, including 3+ years of people leadership in player or user research.
  • Proven experience aligning research strategy with business goals for gaming products.
  • Expertise in game user research across multiple platforms (console, PC, mobile).
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder influence skills across global teams.
  • A strong passion for football and the sports gaming landscape.
