Facilities & Asset Manager - Create Great Places to Work and Live

Location: Milton, Queensland (with travel to sites)
Employment Type: Full-time
Remuneration: $132,500 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging

We're on the hunt for a high-performing, values-driven Facilities & Asset Manager to help us shape and maintain the environments our residents call home and our staff thrive in. This isn't just about overseeing the full lifecycle of physical assets – it's about creating safe, welcoming and adaptable spaces that inspire belonging and wellbeing.

About the Role

We're uplifting our aged care, retirement living and community services portfolio across 20+ sites predominantly in South-East Queensland, while expanding our reach through an ambitious 5-year strategic growth plan. In this role, you'll be at the heart of that transformation – shaping places that empower residents, inspire staff and embody our commitment to excellence.

You will:

  • Drive capital works and refurbishment projects across aged care, retirement, and community services sites.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs that keep our environments safe, resilient and efficient.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and building regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors and consultants to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide clear reporting and insights to senior leadership.

About You

You're an organised, collaborative project management guru that champions great environments. You know that well-maintained facilities aren't just assets – they're the foundation of great care and great workplaces. You're a people person, unflappable problem solver and enjoy building collaborative working relationships.

You'll bring:

  • Degree or diploma in Project Management, Construction Management or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years).
  • Proven experience in facilities, capital works or asset management – preferably in aged care or retirement living.
  • Strong knowledge of trades and services (e.g., electrical, plumbing, fire safety).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and project reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Project.
  • Current White Card and unrestricted QLD Driver's Licence.
  • Ability to maintain a satisfactory National Police Check

About Us

As we celebrate 90 years of service in 2025, we continue to offer a broad range of services including aged care, retirement living, home care, disability, youth and family, mental health, and domestic violence support.

With our 2025–2030 Strategic Plan, we're building on our reputation for leading aged care and community services by growing with purpose – creating great places to work and live through adaptable, high‑quality environments that meet the evolving needs of residents, clients and staff.

We're serious about creating a workplace that fuels your purpose, supports your wellbeing, and moves your career forward. Here's what you can expect when you join our team.

  • Be a catalyst for change:  Drive innovation and excellence in aged care and community services within an organisation that's not just growing – it's boldly expanding with a future-focused strategy.
  • Boost your take-home pay: Enjoy a car allowance and salary packaging benefits of up to $15,990 tax-free, giving you more flexibility and financial freedom.
  • Perks that go beyond the office:  Get access to exclusive discounts on health insurance, travel, gym memberships, tech, appliances, and more – because your lifestyle matters.
  • Grow with us: Tap into learning and professional development opportunities designed to help you stretch, thrive, and shape your career path.
  • Join a legacy of care: Be part of a values-led organisation with a proud 90-year history – where tradition meets transformation, and everyone is welcome.
