Role Purpose:

Drive sales efficiency, maintain customer satisfaction, and contribute to the achievement of sales targets and business objectives primarily of general freight.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the internal sales team to provide comprehensive support and assistance.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Review RFQ's and prepare accurate quotes and sales documents as needed.
  • Provide end-to-end sales support to customers, ensuring their needs are met from initial contact to post-sales follow-up.
  • Create customer orders and purchase orders in our system, liaising with manufacturing, shipping, and third parties as required.
  • Assist in managing third-party yards, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate shipping logistics.
  • Process customer payments, provide receipts, and act as a liaison between the Finance team and customers.
  • Maintain accurate project tracking documentation and generate pending sales reports as needed.
  • Support the achievement of product sales revenue targets and margin targets by collaborating with the sales team and providing regular updates for sales forecasts.
  • Act as a strong advocate for customers within the organization, ensuring their needs are met and issues are addressed promptly.
  • Assist with internal training initiatives, participate in trade shows, and contribute to creating marketing materials as required.
  • Stay informed about competitors' strategies to help our company maintain a competitive advantage in the market.
  • 2+ years previous insides sales experience preferred.
  • Experience Cold Calling
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project)
  • Experience in order taking within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent multi-tasker, detail oriented and works well under pressure.
  • Motivated self-starter and effective team player.
  • Passport required for cross border sales

Work Environment:

  • Remote work environment with the expectation of 2 days in office
  • Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday but can vary as required.
  • Fast paced with tight deadlines.
  • Regular work schedule based on 40 hour work week.
  • On-call duties/after-hours support
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn as per company and client policies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,914.53-$80,834.52 per year
