Job Summary

The Sr. Developer role requires a seasoned professional with 8 to 10 years of experience in data warehousing and ETL processes. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data integration solutions using Informatica Powercenter and Unix Shell Scripting. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that enhance data management and integration capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust ETL processes using Informatica Powercenter to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data warehousing solutions.
  • Implement data integration strategies that optimize data flow and enhance system performance.
  • Utilize SQL expertise to query and manipulate data ensuring accuracy and consistency across databases.
  • Oversee the scheduling and execution of ETL jobs using Informatica Scheduler to maintain seamless data operations.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ETL processes ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues.
  • Develop Unix Shell Scripts to automate routine tasks and streamline data processing workflows.
  • Monitor data integration processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Conduct regular performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes to improve efficiency and reduce processing time.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data integration improvements and implement solutions that drive business value.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of ETL processes and data integration workflows for future reference and training purposes.
  • Ensure data security and integrity by implementing robust validation and error-handling mechanisms.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data warehousing and ETL to continuously enhance skillset and contribute to innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Data Warehousing Concepts and Informatica Powercenter to design effective data solutions.
  • Possess strong SQL skills to manage and manipulate data efficiently.
  • Have experience with Unix Shell Scripting to automate and optimize data processes.
  • Show expertise in ETL processes and Informatica Scheduler to ensure seamless data operations.
  • Exhibit knowledge of data integration strategies to enhance system performance and data flow.
