What this role is all about:

Beem Credit Union is looking for a Member Services Advisor to join our Mission Branch in Kelowna, B.C. As a Member Service Advisor at Beem, you play a vital role in driving our company's financial success. By addressing our members' core needs with excellence, you not only enhance their experience but also identify opportunities to recommend and cross-sell additional products and services.

What you'll do:

• Open accounts, process investments & lending transactions.
• Conduct loan interviews and collect and compile relevant information for credit risk adjudication.
• Process member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, bill payments, wires, drafts, term deposits, etc.
• Adhere to standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with branch administrative duties such as outgoing cheque deposit, ATM balancing, Night Deposit, etc.
• Balance treasury blotter and post transactions daily.

What will you bring:

• 1-3 years of job-related experience in a financial sales and service environment
• Basic understanding of credit products and procedures
• Knowledgeable in full range of investment products
• Financial planning courses considered an asset
• High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Compensation

Annual salary range: $47,500 - $58,100
