Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Appliance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain household appliances. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for helping customers. You will work independently on service calls while collaborating with the team to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers.
- Perform electrical and mechanical repairs accurately and efficiently.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Disassemble and assemble appliances as needed for maintenance or replacement.
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair options, processes, and timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and hours worked.
- Stay current with new appliance technologies, repair methods, and safety protocols.
- Uphold company policies and safety procedures at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience as an appliance repair technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in household appliances.
- Excellent problem-solving, diagnostic, and technical skills.
- Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to client locations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
