Cobourg Mazda is currently seeking an experienced Licensed Technician to join our team. We're a busy, well-established dealer group with a reputation for professionalism, teamwork, and excellence. The Licensed Technician we are looking for is a team player, customer driven, reliable, organized, and professional. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair
  • Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers' problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
  • Inspect vehicles according to the province's requirements for safety.
  • Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness
  • Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records
  • Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
  • Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks and repairs.

What We're Looking For

  • Valid Automotive Service Technician License (310S)
  • Proven experience in a dealership or similar professional environment
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, organized, and motivated team player
  • Customer-focused with excellent attention to detail
