About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced
Enterprise Architect
to provide architectural leadership and oversight across multiple enterprise IT initiatives within a large-scale public sector organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in defining and aligning technology strategy, ensuring that projects adhere to architectural standards, and supporting the delivery of secure, scalable, and integrated solutions across diverse business domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-level architectural guidance and leadership across multiple IT initiatives.
• Coach and mentor domain and solution architects to enhance organizational architectural maturity.
• Develop best practices, standards, and methods to optimize architecture processes.
• Contribute to domain roadmaps with a focus on infrastructure-related solutions.
• Support the Architecture Review Board operations and governance.
• Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective IT solutions aligned with business strategy.
• Define and maintain architecture templates, patterns, and standards.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout project lifecycles.
• Support the implementation and integration of IT capital projects.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and solution blueprints.
• Manage architecture-related risk and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Participate in technology evaluations, vendor assessments, and solution selection.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years
  of proven experience as an
  Enterprise Architect
  , supporting IT capital projects and aligning them with organizational strategy.
• Educational Requirement:
• Master's degree in Systems Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science;
  or
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
  plus 3 additional years
  of Enterprise Architecture experience (total 8 years minimum).
• At least 1 year
  of experience as a
  Solution Architect
  supporting infrastructure-related initiatives (e.g., migrations, storage, capacity upgrades).

Certifications Required:

• TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) Certification
• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification

Preferred / Rated Qualifications:

Expert Knowledge Of:

• Developing
  architecture roadmaps
  ,
  blueprints
  , and
  Architecture Decision Records (ADRs)
  .
• Aligning technology initiatives with long-term business goals and transformation strategies.
• Business models, financial drivers, and the role of IT in creating competitive advantage.
• Networking, storage, cloud platforms, virtualization, and security architecture.
• Leading IT Capital Planning processes, including prioritization and technology selection.
• Collaborating with senior executives, business leaders, and technical teams.
• Evaluating trade-offs and making architectural decisions under uncertainty.

Extensive Experience In:

• Leading or contributing to large infrastructure and solution deployment projects.
• Designing and managing physical/virtual server architectures, Data Domain, Isilon, backups, and HA configurations.
• Greenfield infrastructure design, VM provisioning, resource allocation, and performance tuning.
• Applying structured problem-solving methods, from issue identification to action planning.
• Information management, logic modeling, conceptual and workflow design.
• Requirements gathering, analysis, and development of Data Management systems.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in
  healthcare or public sector IT projects
  is considered a strong asset.
