Interlake School Division invites applications for the following EA position:

  • 6.0 Hours/Day Rosser Elementary School

Working under the direction of a Learning Support teacher, classroom teacher or a clinician, the Educational Assistant will supplement the regular instructional programs for students, by assisting students in their intellectual, social and emotional development.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) Diploma.
  • Enjoy working with children and have a basic understanding of their needs.
  • Well developed numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to contribute as a team member & willingness to accept guidance and supervision from professional staff.
  • A sense of discretion that respects the privacy and integrity of those with whom he/she is associated.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Be a positive influence on the team atmosphere.
  • Related course work such as the Educational Assistant Program Diploma (University of Winnipeg) or the Child Care Services Diploma (Red River College Polytechnic) would be considered an asset.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Hourly Rate: $ $24.94 / hr
